History

1995   Development of the Aquila A 210 starts
1996   AQUILA Aviation by Excellence AG is founded by Peter Grundhoff, Alfred Schmiderer und Markus Wagner
1997   A temporary production site is established in the facilities of the former Gesellschaft für Sport und Technik (GST) in Schoenhagen and mould making started.
1998   The first prototype components are made;
fatigue testing of the wing structure is successfully carried out at the Technical University of Berlin
1999   Static vibration test within the scope of proof of compliance activities in august 1999.
2000   The prototype is examined by the experts of Luftfahrt Bundesamt (German aviation authorities);
test pilot Heiner Neumann took off from Schoenhagen Airfield
for the successful maiden flight;
presentation of the airplane at ILA 2000 and participation in the flying display
2001   Approval as design-organization;
flight testing of the A 210 is finished
2002     First delivery of a production aircraft
2003 Series production
2005   January 12, 2005: application for insolvency;
commencement of insolvency proceedings and restart of production of the Aquila A 210;
successful restructuring program by insolvency administrator Dr. Bruno M. Kübler from KÜBLER
2006Optimization and stabilization of series production;
Presentation at ILA 2006;
Participation in the Tannkosh meeting in Tannheim;
Distribution of  50. airplane Aquila A 210 in july;
AQUILA-Fly-in in october
